Franklin Park Conservatory's Community Garden Pavillion

The Franklin Park Conservatory, a botanical garden and conservatory was built in Columbus, Ohio in 1895. At present, it is a horticultural and educational institution featuring exotic plant collections, special exhibits and Dale Chihuly artworks. Covering more than 90 acres, John, Bruce, Bryan and I spent time at their Community Garden, a wonderful series of specialty gardens including grape- draped arbors, culinary and medicinal plant displays, raised beds for gardeners with physical challenges, tables for seed-starting, rose displays and an inviting fire-cooking theater.
