Cotyledon ladismithiensis, native to South Africa, forms a small shrublet to 6" in height. Several "teeth" at the apex of each fleshy, fuzzy leaf give the appearance of "bear claws". Clusters of yellowish-orange bell-shaped flowers in late spring. Porous soil with adequate drainage. Bright light for best form with ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
